Lego Love

In the early 1930s, a Danish carpenter created small, interlocking wooden blocks he called leg godt, which means "play well." Little could he imagine that, into the 21st century, the plastic versions of his tiny creations would become a staple of children's toy chests around the world. Wee ones will get their chance to play with the beloved bricks at Redbud Library in Clearlake on Fridays at 3 p.m. Kids of all ages can make masterpieces with the library's collection of colorful Lego playthings. See co.lake.ca.us for details.
