Stitched in Time

Carrying symbols of family, culture, and community, quilts are often a labor of love. See masters of the craft display their work at the 21st Annual Fort Bragg Quilt Show, where more than 130 quilts will be hung. Watch demos of quilting and fabric-art techniques, enter a raffle, and peruse the wares of vendors. Take in the show June 24, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and June 25, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., at the Dana Grey Elementary School in Fort Bragg. The $5 admission is good for both days and benefits the Soroptimist International of Noyo Sunrise's scholarship fund and the community projects of the Ocean Wave Quilters.
